Dr. David Klosterman

Dr. Klosterman grew up in Kettering, Ohio, where he attended high school at Kettering Fairmont.  During his days in high school, he was an avid athlete, participating in basketball, soccer, track and cross-country.  Following high school, he attended Ohio University where he graduated in June of 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in International Communications.

Dr. Klosterman worked in the business field following graduation.  It didn’t take long for him to realize that this chosen career was not for him.  Throughout high school and college, he suffered from back pain, and just never really felt right.  After years of suffering from this, he finally went to see a chiropractor. The results were amazing. It took awhile, but eventually he was able to play basketball and stay active without the pain.  In addition, which was a surprise to him and a great added bonus, he started to experience other benefits such as not getting sick as often, having more energy, and just feeling like everything was working the way God intended it to.

With results like that, and as a young man who has always wanted to make a difference in the world, he began to investigate the chiropractic profession.  He understood its science and philosophy, and to say the least, it had an effect on him.  Once Dr. Klosterman learned about the efficacy and benefits of chiropractic care, and how much of a positive difference he could make to his community and the world through chiropractic, nothing could stop him from becoming a successful chiropractor himself.  With that said, Dr. Klosterman quit his job at the age of 23 and took off to Atlanta, GA where he attended Life chiropractic university. He graduated from Life Chiropractic University five years later in June of 1998!

Following graduation, Dr. Klosterman took a job working for Dr. Richard Teeters in his hometown of Kettering.  He worked as an associate and eventually as an independent contractor.  As an independent contractor for Teeters Chiropractic, Dr. Klosterman took an office in Franklin, OH and grew it from just three patients in 1999 to over one-thousand in 2002.  He bought the practice from Dr. Teeters in 2002.  In October of 2003, Dr. Klosterman moved his practice from 1200 East Second St. in Franklin to 245 North Main Street in Springboro. His patient base has increased to over 1600 and is continuing to grow every day.

Dr. Klosterman resides in Springboro in close proximity to his practice.  Many times during the summer you can see him walking to and from his office.  As a Springboro resident, he is tapped into the community and surroundings communities.  He is proud to be a member of the Springboro Rotary Club and the Franklin Lions Club.  As an active member within the community, Dr. Klosterman takes great pride in being a productive member giving back when ever possible.

As a leader in the chiropractic profession, he is committed to excellence.  He is a member of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association, past president and current vice- president of the Miami Valley Chiropractic Society, member of the National Wellness Foundation as well as the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance.  Dr. Klosterman is proficient in the use of various chiropractic techniques, which include Gonstead, Activator, Diversified, SOT, Toggle-Recoil, and Cox Decompression.

Cindy Klosterman

Cindy Klosterman was raised in the armed forces community, as her father is a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force.  Originally from Puerto Rico, Cindy was raised in Air Force bases that include Ramey AFB - Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; Keesler AFB - Biloxi, MS; and Wright-Patterson AFB - Fairborn, OH.  She graduated from Fairborn High School and began taking college courses at Wright State University.  She transferred her studies to the University of Dayton and Park University, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.

Cindy has ten years of experience working for a defense contractor with their administrative and contracting support staff, and as a Program Analyst.  She wanted to pursue a new and more meaningful direction in life, so she took a leap of faith to change her career field.  With over six years of personal experience in strength and resistance training, as well as weight management training, Cindy decided to focus on her love of staying fit and became certified as a personal fitness trainer and fitness therapist.

Cindy puts a lot of demands and strain on her body with her chosen hobby that is also her career.  As such, chiropractic has been a blessing in her life.  It has allowed her to manage years of severe neck and shoulder problems, as well as keeping her in the best shape, mentally and physically, in her life!  There is no way Cindy could have continued to do what she does without chiropractic!

Cindy now works at Klosterman Chiropractic Wellness Center as a post-rehabilitation therapist.  She has specific and specialized exercise programs for various parts of the body that have been exposed to ailment or injury.  These exercises have been designed as a three-level, progressive tier to aid in gentle stretching and strengthening of the body.

Klosterman Chiropractic Wellness Center now offers continuing post-rehabilitative therapy at the next level; personalized post-rehabilitation in conjunction with strength, resistance, and weight management training.  Cindy is proficient with techniques that include weights, resist-a-ball, resistance bands, as well as core strengthening and training.  Within the privacy of a professional office, a personal training studio, or even your own home, Cindy can further assist you in reaching your health and fitness goals!

Cindy resides in Springboro and is an active member in the Springboro Rotary Club.

Wendy McDonough

A graduate from the University of Dayton, with a B.S. in Management Information Systems, I spent 11 years in Corporate America in Sales and Marketing of technical software products.  After taking a 5-year sabbatical, I decided to pursue a career in the wellness industry.  I first met Dr. Dave at a women’s health expo.  After becoming his patient, I was eager to work at Klosterman Chiropractic because of Dr. Dave’s integrity, healing abilities and holistic approach to health care.

I have become educated on the benefits of chiropractic and have learned that is more than just treating back pain.  I have been amazed to find how managing your spine, and therefore your central nervous system, can optimize everything in your body, from your immune system to all your major organs.  I’m so convinced of the benefits of chiropractic that I have all three of my children (18, 17 and 4) adjusted.

On a personal level, I am looking forward to getting my kids through school, while pursuing optimum body, mind and spirit health, as I turn 40 this year.  Professionally I want to help Klosterman Chiropractic become the best Wellness Center in the area.  Long term, I would like to write a book and publicly speak on how women can nurture themselves to wholeness.

Dr. Ryan Zimmer D.C.

Caroline Presno

Caroline Presno has had an interest in psychology as early as she can remember. Her educational background is a mix of psychology, counseling and the field of education. She has received an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in mental health counseling from Wright State University, as well as a doctorate degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Cincinnati. She is licensed by the state of Ohio as a Professional Counselor. Often, Ms. Presno can be found teaching classes at local colleges and universities including Antioch College and Wright State University.

Recently, Ms. Presno’s passion for psychology and passion for writing merged with her new book, Profiling Your Date: A Smart Woman’s Guide to Evaluating a Man which is a woman’s guide for applying psychotherapists’ tricks of the trade to dating and relationships.

Clearly, counseling singles looking for healthy relationships, as well as counseling those who are in relationships and want to make them grow and flourish are important focal points for her.
